Item was not too difficult to assemble, but took a little time. The size is perfect for the mudroom. It is indeed an off whiteivory color, not a true white. I wasn’t expecting it to be such an off white (more yellow undertone). However, it still looks nice and functions as it should. I would have preferred it to be white. This type of shoe organizer is likely not one to let smaller children use as you can’t be rough with them. If they are not handled with a degree of care I question their life span. I do recommend the item and it works as it should. The shelf on top is an added bonus to place handbags, etc.

What an amazingly versatile shoe storage cabinet. It looks great and will realistically hold 12 pairs a. The only complaint if you want to call it that, is the side brackets are plastic. of adult womans shoes
