Portability Kit

When my Equator washerdryer combo was delivered it came with the portability kit. I didnt know this and purchased one beforehand. No worries. Nice to have a spare. Do NOT attempt to put the wheels on by yourself. Although it can be done (I did) it took me ALL day. Lol. I am so glad I got this kit. Works nicely with my new member of the family Thank you Wayfair youve got just what I need ❤️❤️❤️

Needed with washer/ dryer combo purchase.

I really needed this kit for my washing machine so I can roll it to the sink to use the water. The Wheels roll nicely and they do not scratch the hardwood floor.

Easy to install

My only dissatisfaction is with the noise that makes when it stops to change the direction of spin usually during the drying cycle. I completely prepared the product before I used it, so I’m not sure what that noise is.

The faucet coupler and Y-connector do not make a secure connection, allowing slight leaks, and engendering fear that it will shoot off and spray water. Talking of spraying water: there is no pressure relief mechanism to bleed out remaining water in the lines before disengaging the coupler from the tap. This is a serious flaw. Even with the faucet shut off, disengaging the coupler results in an explosive blast of water. It is recommended that one shut off the tap before the machine completes a load: after the final rinse fill for vented drying or Wash Only, and at the 12-minute mark during condenser drying (the cold-water stream that facilitates condensing action shuts off at 10 minutes remaining). The casters, while mostly plastic, are holding up well. Locking them down and releasing the locks is easy and effortless using either hands or feet. In locked position, they do a very capable job at keeping the machine from "walking across the floor" during the more violent portions of the spin-dry portion.

It does the job, but I cannot get it to stop leaking around the adaptor connector. Clothes get clean and dry, which is what is important. Takes a long time for each very small load, so laundry takes all day
