Nice scissors but my error in thinking that the blade was 5.5 inches not the whole scissors!

The Prym - 5-1/4" Sewing Scissors, Stainless Steel one is one of my favorites! It cuts fabric like a hot knife in butter. But the very fine serrated edge grips slippery fabric so you get the needed precision. I love the soft handles because you can use them for an extended period of time and not have aching fingers.
