This would have been so great if it were all the same color, but unfortunately it is not. Underneath the hanging keys is an unstained wood with a magnetic silver strip. Completely unappealing to the eye. Even if you didn’t mind when the keys are out, even just hung, you can see the plain wood.

Beech Paint Piano Key Design coat rack hook hanger arrived safe, sound and on time. The hanger came equipped with a small screw set, dry wall anchors, two adhesive pads, screw and of course the directions. I would definitely use heavier wall anchors to match the weight of multiple coats, hats and so on as after hanging a medium weight coat and baseball cap, the plastic brackets came off the wall. The overall wood design is made out of a light weight wood, stained two tone to achieve the piano key look. The pegs are attached along the bottom rod and at this time, stays in the upright position when not in use. Sleek design and I do like the fact that the piano keys don't catch your clothing if you are walking by it or leave an imprint on the garments like a metal rounded hook does. There was no wood stain scent when opening the box and well packaged. The overall size is not over powering and its also light weight. This can be hung anywhere inside or outside even for a pool house. Perfect for the kids apartment entrance and can be taken down when they move...again.

Adds style to the entry. Functional too. The design allows for hanging of multiple items including hats, jackets and handbags

I ABSOLUTELY ECHO the review from August 1 - - look at those pictures from that reviewer! The wood underneath is just plain lumber and DOES NOT MATCH the color/stain of the rest of the rack - - looks hideous! Now I have to decide if I'm going to return it, or try to figure out a way to stain those narrow crevices. Wayfair, your product photos seem to be intentionally deceptive... they do not show this design issue.
