Update although I initially liked these hangers, I now realize that the quality is bad. The finish is very inconsistent and without finish in some spots. It seems like the rubber coating will easily wear off. I tried to hang a pair of pants on a hanger and the bottom bar just fell off. Returning. I like these! I have been looking for new hangers for my closet to give it a uniform look and I wanted something nicer than plastic hangers. When looking, I had several things in mind - 1. Space. I wanted something that wouldnt take up too much space. These do the job since they lay flat and not curved. The manufacturer states that they are 716 of an inch thick. I dont know how thick a plastic hanger is, but these didnt look much thicker than the plastic hangers I had. 2. Non-slip. I find it misleading when hangers state they are non-slip just because they have notches at the ends. That only works for things with straps. When I first heard of rubberized hangers, I knew I needed them! When the box arrived and I opened it, I was skeptical that they wouldnt be broken. They stack them in a box with no other packaging. Surprisingly, not one single hanger was broken - out of 125! When I first picked one up, I was surprised by the look and feel of a rubberized hanger. They use a very thin layer of rubber, so it almost feels like spray glue was used. But its not sticky. They do have a mat finish because of it, so they arent as attractive as the glossy finish hangers. But the rubberized coating works. I would much rather have the rubberized feature than the glossy coating. After a few days, I no longer notice the feel of the rubberized coating when I pick one up. I love how sturdy they are. No more sagging plastic hanger because it cant hold the weight of my husbands jeans! My only criticizm is that I cant seem to find these same hangers with skirt hooks in a smaller quantity than 25. I dont wear enough skirts to justify spending over fifty dollars on 25 skirt hangers. I just need a few. I did submit a question on the product page regarding this, but have not heard back. Other than that, I would recommend these!
