This shoe bench feels sturdy, has a fairly comfortable cushion, and looks as pictured. It has a few pieces in the assembly process and the parts are not interchangeable because of the shelf embedded on one side, but it was exactly what I needed - a pretty, narrow bench to sit on while putting on my shoes by the door in my hallway, for both myself and my older parents.

Just what I needed to keep shoes picked up and neat. Perfect place to drop everything as I continue the door. Fit perfectly in my niche. Looks great, comfortable, and stylish. Love it!!

Easy to build, feels like good quality

Wood cracking and damaged out of box

had some shipping issues but when it came it was easy to work with!! could use slightly refreshed instructions,,, I was able to figure it out and it feels secure but it took some mental effort
