I know fabricated furniture is low quality. It's too bad a person couldn't come up to something better that looks nicer, tho. The legs are insufficient for stability on this cabinet. They are plastic and the bottom of the legs are small so not a lot of support. Also there are no pre drilled holes for the legs so you have to create your own and determine where you think they should go. The magnetic closures work but the nails used protrude beyond the plate so the closure on the doors is a little weak. I love the look of this cabinet and the natural color. Usually, you pay for quality. I would pay more if this cabinet used real wood and better legs for support.

This is beautiful when completed: very sophisticated and looks high end. I love having all of our shoes out of sight by the front door entrance. The directions were relatively easy to follow but it still took me 3 hours to build. I had to sub out a few of my own screws because the holes were too wide for the provided screws and provided screws fell out. Either I lost it or we were missing one screw to begin with. There are *quite* a lot of pieces. If you’re ready for a straightforward but lengthy build project and you want a beautiful (but still particle board) shoe solution. This might be a good one for you too!

I placed in entryway so everyone including guest can put their shoes. So much more sofistcated than an open shoe shelf or old dirty shoes all over the floor.
