My 8 year old granddaughter is thrilled with the jewelry box.

This jewelry box was a beautiful birthday gift for my granddaughter.. It is heavy and clearly a high-quality item. It is definitely something that will last for years and years. The top tray has several divided compartments for earrings, bracelets, rings and special trinkets. The top tray lifts out to reveal one large open space at the bottom where necklaces can lie flat and bangle bracelets can be kept. . The ballerina inside is just OK looking. I've seen nicer ballerinas in cheaper boxes, but it doesn't take away from the beauty and craftsmanship of the box. Overall, I think it's a sweet jewelry box that I expect to last through her teen years and beyond. A lovely keepsake!
