Excellent performance - just remember its primary use is steam! I knew that and love it!

As I said before I haven't used the iron yet. Difficult to review. Since I've used it. Love the way it irons but is toooo heavy.

The Reliable Velocity Steam Iron delivers plenty of steam by grasping and holding the sensor control in the handle. At first I was not getting steam all the time but once I realized that you must have full hand contact around the handle while ironing, the steam just kept coming. I sew and use a steam iron all the time. My old Rowenta was over 30 years old and still delivering steam but not nearly as much as my new Velocity. Also, it is recommended to use distilled water.

I sew and have a small business. I'm always looking for a great steam iron and have owned many. If I could give this iron 100 stars I would do so. It generates great steam, is a good weight, glides across all types of materials, presses and irons so well, and very comfortable in my hand. Just can't say enough good things about this gem! Highly recommend.
