It's very heavy--not too heavy to hang, but once you put items on it, you'd better make sure it's secured to wall studs, or everything will come crashing down. It's also an odd color of green.

Was so excited pulling it out of the box. My new shelf was packaged carefully, no damage and is exactly what I was looking for. Will be putting it over my stove to hold coffee and teas. The hooks will be perfect for my boho cups. Yippee.
