Poor packaging and quality. The wood was not finished and speared rough (not sanded down). The item arrived broken as well because of negligent packaging. Honestly, do not buy! Item appears nicer on picture than real life.

Slats are too far apart to place shoes on! Definitely missed the mark as a shoe storage bench.

My experience with Wayfair is usually very good but this time I was disappointed. The bench was damaged and dirty, unfortunately.

Slates are cheaply put together and three pieces were completely off when the box was opened with nails sticking out.

I wanted to love this, but….VERY large, a bit too large for my entry way. Wood was very raw and rustic and not sanded smooth. I was also hoping for a lighter shade based on the review photos. Comes fully assembled out of the box, and you can tell it is hand made. Fits quite a few pairs of shoes (8-10 depending on the size) Still not sure if I am going to keep it.

I needed a bench in my garage to put my outside shoes on and have a place to sit while I’m doing so. I purchased the roughhewn unfinished benchshoe rack. It took a while to arrive, I’m guessing because more needed to be made. It’s a very simply made benchshoe rack but it is very sturdy. My only complaint is that the photos Wayfair shows are deceiving - the shelves for the shoes are not very high, so for rain boots and shoes with any height, they have to be laid on their side, which takes up more room on the shelves. Unlike some of the other reviews I have read, I had no damage to the bench - no split wood or corner damage. It came all in one piece, nothing to put together, and the box wasn’t too bad to manage. I would suggest to the manufacturer that some sort of corner protector would be a good idea when shipping the painted benches. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase.

Well very disappointing, but plan to keep it only cause i got it on sale. What I purchased was rustic white and distressed. What I received looks like two by fours put together and painted with white paint. Looks nothing like the pictures other buyers received in their reviews. It fits well and works for what I wanted it for so I will not return it. I will have to purchase sand paper and sand the edges to make the rustic distressed look for myself. Just wish Wayfair would honor there products by sending you what you thought you were spending money on. Again no other pictures looked like what I received those buyers got what they purchased and the pictures matched.
