This safe is super convenient when it works...However, my unit eats up batteries way too quickly. It will kill brand new name brand 9V batteries within a month. I no longer have the confidence to rely on this safe as a quick access gunsafe.

I needed a safe that can fit 2 9mm pistols easily with room for 2 extra clips and some ammo. Even though I have an ammo case, I like to keep a small amount handy with my guns. This safe turned out being perfect. High quality, heavy duty, easy to work, unbelievably quiet and reasonably priced. Another amazing feature is that it opens all the way. Exceeded my expectations, I couldn't be happier. I will be buying more from Sentry without a doubt...
