this item is made in china. had i checked for this i might not have ordered it. no where in the listing did it clearly state this, nor in any of the pdf's that i downloaded. it works great for my 1 rifle and 1 pistol. also, plenty of ammo can be stored inside. programming the code was fairly easy to figure out. i agree with the reviewer that referred to this as a gun locker. it can be carried away by a strong enough person. it has holes on the back and the hardware to secure it to a wall, but there are no holes on the bottom for floor mounting. i did not experience the falling forward of the case when it was on carpet, but it did wobble quite a bit. mine sits on a hard surface and is more stable now. i had an idea to insert eye bolts in the holes on the back then use chains and a lock to secure it to a heavy wire rack to prevent theft. there are a couple of crudely cut pieces of felt for the top shelf and the bottom that did not stay in place, but a little double sided scotch tape fixed that. they also had to be trimmed just a little. it is a narrow opening so when moving a piece in or out you really need to watch yourself so that no damage is done to it. it is only spot welded where the pieces meet. this will keep firearms out of children's hands. it stated 'fire resistant' but not for how long or at what temperature. i downloaded the 4 pdf files associated with this item and there is no mention of this either. the attached pics show the spot welds and the holes to mount it to the wall.

I bought this as a gift for my son in law. It fits in his closet perfectly and keeps his rifles close at hand. The cabinet is sturdy and functional! The locks work perfectly. I do recommend this cabinet.

Fits perfect in husband closet. We have a separate ammo box though.

Its a very small, very simple, gun safe. Not going to put much in it. Fits perfect in a little hiding hole. Similar to a strong locker. Something small & simple to deter and make difficult without breaking the bank.

Not a safe at all bought one the door opened when locked. Ask for another one and got another one same thing. Opens in locked position cheap product that doesn't work a safe that's not safe stay away I can't even get money back gotta get credits to pay more to get another one.
