The Steele Canvas Basket Tall Canvas Hamper is a good small laundry room solution, tall and fairly narrow, and a lot of space for laundry. I bought a black one and a white one, the black canvas is a bit more flimsy, the white canvas is stiffer. Both stand upright, but possibly the black canvas will start to collapse after some time.

I wanted to replace my very old but sturdy Umbra laundry hamper. This Steele hamper is almost exactly the same as the one I am replacing. It is clearly a very sturdy, well-built hamper. It stands on its own, has a bit of weight when empty, and will no doubt take care of my laundry needs for years and years. I'm very happy with it.
