Allen 35.4'' Wall Mounted Clothes Rack

I have an old closet in a bedroom with unusual dimensions and it was difficult to find anything that would fit inside without designing something custom, so I was excited to find this clothing rack. In person, it looks cheap, because it is. The “brass” is poorly painted metal and I didn’t trust the included anchor screws so I switched them out with something more reliable. The wood is also stained poorly, but you won’t see it high up in a closet. Overall this works fine for a guest bedroom, but if you’re looking for something sturdy, it won’t hold up to heavy weight or abuse.

This rack has a very rustic piece of wood, and the metal mounting brackets are also antiqued, kind of brass looking. It came in many pieces and we did not care for it. Look very closely at the photos to make sure this is what you want. We returned ours.

LOVE IT, FITS PERFECTLY

My shelf came without the garment hanger rod. That is being remedied with a replacement part, but I have to wait a week for it to even ship. Of larger concern is that my shelf does not resemble the shelf in the photo. It is a different color with a huge grain that looks really cheap. I am keeping it because it will serve it's purpose, but I am going to paint the shelf. Update to add that I was sent a replacement promptly and am pleased with the end result. I still docked a star because the shelf is not at all like the one pictured online. I wound up painting it so it works.

Color is much more yellow and less refined looking than in photo, which worked great for me as I thought the images looked too modern. Easy to install and holds up great in my mudroom.

This shelf is perfect for a guest bedroom that has no closet. It’s very sturdy and house guests have appreciated the place to hang their clothes.

I LOVE this shelf. It is deocative and functional. I don't have a coat closet so this is really nice to use when guests come over.
