It started off rocky with the first butcher blacktop cracked down the middle. Called customer service told them the situation ,sent photos annd immediately or re-ordered the top and I received it within two days and I sent the broken one back prepaid. I’m in the process of stating and seal it as we speak. Customer service was great and we’re on it.

Cracked top that weighs over 100 pounds and they offered me a full replacement if I can produce a new box. And I would need to ship out the old one then wait for the new one oil it and reinstall while my kitchen sits all torn up. That or 20% discount which is less than 60 bucks. Go somewhere else the service stinks.

This butcher block Island is beautiful. We purchased it to make a dining room table out of and are using black iron for the legs. We finished seasoning it and it's gorgeous. It had one flaw on the top of the side that was the prettiest. It worked out fine my husband knows how to work with wood and was able to fix it so we are tickled pink

I really like this wood. It’s thick. Substantial. Love the grain. I’m staining a little darker and sealing and the appearance is really nice with a Waterlox satin finish sealer.
