We love our carport!

First thing I will say is that I was able to get this carport up in about a total of 10 hours, with a helper, an 8 foot ladder, a hammer, power drill, and lots of sweat. Fortunately it was a cloudy day in hot west Texas. I will say that I did run into MANY issues with building this. First off, the online instructions did not match the instructions that came in the box. In addition, I was missing 135 of 480 screws, approximately 1/4 of the metal sheets were bent/warped, the waterproofing rolls were unusable assumingly due to excessive heat exposure which caused them to melt together, and nearly every metal tube piece of the gables (4 separate pieces by the way for each of 5 gables) were bent to the point of being unable to connect. I had to reach out to a neighbor who specializes in metalwork to bend the pieces back to as close to the intended shape. In addition I had to make 2 separate trips to the nearest hardware store (roundtrip of 70 miles each) for the missing screws and for a waterproofing/sealer to replace the unusable one. I have reached out to the manufacturer regarding all of these issues and hope to help someone else before they get themselves into this mess. Overall the instructions were okay, but not the best. The instructions recommend installing the center sheet metal piece first, which was fine, but VERY difficult to line up without some sort of center point or center marker. My first set of metal sheets that ran parallel came out a bit lopsided following the included instructions. Luckily I tweaked my building method and instead of running the metal back and forth long-ways, I set the line of sheets on one row all the way down from top to side, and this made lining things up much straighter and easier to make adjustments. Overall, I'd give it a 2/5 simply due to the problems encountered, missing products, and dents/bends/warps that I had to have remediated. So far it has stood up (granted it had only been 2 days), but doesn't way or creak and it does the job of covering up my vehicles. I will update once I hear back from the manufacturer!

Love it, easy to put together need two people to stand up the sections, instructions need to be alittle more detailed but all in all good strong metal frame and good strong metal roof panels, the hardest part is that you got to make sure you are square and level before you start the roof panels
