Arlex 86" W Closet Organization System with Drawers

If I could give a 4.5, I would. I ordered the outer closet system tower for a really low price in September 2019 and it was supposed to have the drawers (was listed with them). I am embarrassed to admit, but the 2 boxes sat unopened until Christmas 2021 when my cousin visited from Cali and offered to assemble for me. That is when I realized the drawers were missing. After a lot of stalking Wayfair for the drawers (which were out of stock) and several customer service emails and calls from December 2021 through August 2022, finally got the 3 drawers here. There were some problems, but Wayfair refunded my purchase price for the tower and gave me a discount so I could buy the drawers at a reasonable price. 3 years later, I finally have this "armoire" assembled and am pleased. I did struggle with the drawer pulls initially and will give this tip in case others experience the same. Use a flat head screw driver to gently separate the piece that needs to be removed. Took me several hours to put these together as the instructions are all pics and I was being very cautious to check everything prior to assembly. Also used a phillips screw driver only, which was slow going, but I feel better using on composite wood so as to not damage the pieces. At the end of the day, these are nicely made and solid drawers with a nice weight. The aren't as perfectly aligned as I would like. But this unit is in a guest bedroom and I'm pleased with the final product.

Getting this closet system and putting it together was an ORDEAL. I originally bought this July 30ish for around $1300. However, the website glitched and I only received the drawers that came with the system. Some of the drawers were damaged and one didn't have pre-drilled holes. I waited and waited, checked my account, and Wayfair said it was "delivered". Nothing else came or was delived to the wrong house, it was just a system error. It was past mid-August and I finally got the entire system, 8 boxes. The boxes I was originally charged for was transferred to the entirety of the closet system's price. I was frustrated that the cost of the system went up to $1400 on the website. When I was on the phone with a representative, I mentioned it and they said they couldn't do anything about the price even though I "bought" it when it was cheaper. I was hoping to get the entire system before the end of August because my dad offered to help put it together before his scheduled surgery and I was NOT going to pay $600+ for assembly. Yet, I got the last box on the day of the surgery and we finally put it together this Oct. I did find some damage, but not too bad. When putting the system together I found gaps where there shouldn't be. Still not too bad. Overall, this system is visually appealing and I was very happy with how smoothly the drawers opened and closed. You do have to push them firmly for there not to be a gap, not a big deal. I used Lysol wipes to clean it and a vacuum to take care of some wood shavings. The parts are very heavy, the metal "nails" used to connect the top to the bottom portion of the cabinet scraped the paint off and there are a spots damaged that I'm sure could be fine with some paint. I spoke to one Wayfair representative through chat and three on the phone. Every single one were very nice and professional. I was worried about not being believed about only receiving the drawers because they told me they couldn't see the issue on their end. However, they looked further and saw the problem and were more than happy to help. I am slightly reluctant to buy more furniture like the system again because of the amount of parts it comes in, the time it took, price change, and the glitch. While I may not buy another system like this again, I am confident in Wayfair's customer service to make it right for other customers.

So many Knicks, scratches, and discoloration. The system overall is pretty hut it came severely damaged and uneven. The drill holes weren't even drilled in the correct places. My Husband and Dad had to refill holes and also use a ton of wood glue and so forth to make my system work. I give them the 5 stars for turning this closet system into the beauty she is. No thank you to the company at all. I buy from Wayfair quite often and I was disappointed in this purchase big time.
