I’ve purchased a lot of self-assemble furniture throughout my life, but this is hands down the worst piece I have ever seen. I was in a rush to accommodate guests for the holiday so I had to persevere… The box arrived with a tiny hole and one of the back supports sticking out a few inches - no idea how that hole magically appeared in just the right spot for that one small rod to pierce the cardboard, but I blame the horribly bad packaging. On further inspection, there was no second support in the box so either it slid out along the way, or it was never there to begin with. The styrofoam inside the box was practically disintegrated so it wasn’t protecting a thing. Each shelf had damage on at least one of the corners. The bag of screws and other parts did not match the inventory on the instruction sheet… there were not enough screws to follow the assembly instructions, but ultimately that didn’t matter because the pre-drilled screw holes did not line up with the metal frame. Ultimately, I resorted to using one support rod in the back, one screw on each side of each shelf and secured the rest of the shelf with DUCT TAPE to hold it together for a few days. I realize you get what you pay for and this is a very inexpensive piece, but it’s not even worth the 55 I paid for it. As soon as my houseguests leave, I will gladly chuck this in the garbage.
