These are (greasy!!!) lengths of basic 1/2 inch diameter cast iron pipe. Such material is poorly suited (much too heavy, visually ugly) for the intended application (to hang clothing).

I wanted to love these for the laundry room but there is really no good way to attach them. The square base can easily be attached at a stud but the other holes would only attach at drywall, making it difficult to hold any real weight. We have yet to install because of this
