Coffre Glenover

This little trunk coffee table is just adorable to look at & is unique as can be. Unfortunately the construction is extremely poor. Wood seems to be dry and husband had to glue it in several places and nail it, however, the nailing was difficult because the wood would split where the nail went into it. -- First time I have ever had any sort of a problem with Wayfair. I was willing to settle & my husband agreed & said oh well it wasn't too much money. Told him it was substantially more than $100.00 - he gasped & simply said he was surprised at Wayfair. - Well, you asked so I answered. This was way too small! The details are great, but it should not be called a coffee table. My family is still making family is still making fun of me for not reading the details better!

though the description did say it needed to be assembled, the hinges to the top of the trunk appeared to have had the screws attached at one point but were ripped out somehow. I could only find one at the bottom of the shipping box and one that was embedded into the cardboard siding of the shipping box. I couldn't find the last two screws. (They were tiny screws - wouldn't hold the top of the trunk anyway). Definitely wasn't something that was supposed to be "assembled". Trunk was not as wide as labeled either - only 11" in depth, not 12". Smaller than expected.
