Hung bottom shelf with the provided screws and seems fairly sturdy. Purchased better wall anchors for top shelf and the difference is noticeable, would recommend if you’d like to hang heavier items!

About This Product

This 2-piece floating shelf offers the opportunity to display your favorite decor in full view. The rectangular shelves are made from engineered wood in your choice of finish. They are supported by black metal brackets. Each shelf measures 31.5” wide and 11.6” deep and, if installed into a wall stud, supports 33 Ibs. Consider these shelves for your kitchen as a storage spot for spices, glassware, or coffee mugs. Or, mount them in your living room or office for decorative accents. Just remember to pick up the wall mounting hardware in advance.

The floating wall-mounted shelves can be hung anywhere you can imagine, for example, in the living room for books, photo frames, a small plant pot, a flower vase, keys, a mug, dolls, toys, and so on, in the kitchen for can, jar, pot, jug, etc.
