"We decided to clear up space in our guest bedroom by moving all of our craft supplies to the empty closet. We DIYed simple wooden shelves and used a variety of storage bins including this filing cabinet and these photoboxes. Clear storage bins with clear labels make it very easy to see what we have on hand while still keeping everything organized and contained. I can’t believe how much storage we were able to fit into this small closet simply by re-thinking the best use of the space!"

"When it comes to organization, I’m definitely a “function over form” kind of person. I believe in everything having a place, but that place may not necessarily look nice. Most of our cabinets and closets contain a mismatched collection of bins, baskets and old shoe boxes that I use to coral our stuff. I recently invested in a few storage bins from Wayfair to tackle our not so lovely master bathroom closet. It’s amazing what a few well proportioned bins, and a roll of contact paper, can do to a space. I used these plastic baskets to store our cleaning supplies and my styling tools. The baskets keep everything together so nothing gets lost in the closet and cords don’t get all tangled together. I also repurposed the Fridge and Freeze Binz divided tray to hold bathroom essentials and my collection of nail polishes. Now I can open the closet and conveniently see what we have and take inventory of what supplies are running low without searching around."

"You can make any tiny space impactful - I was able to transform this tiny linen closet into an organized, functional space in the matter of an hour. First, get rid of anything you do not use. That half of a bottle of shampoo that you once loved, but never finished? Toss it. The almost empty bottle of Tylenol dated from 2015... dump it & toss it. Your 27 towels... do you really need 27 towels? Donate at least half. Next, sketch it out. I am a visual person. I always sketch out my end product so I know exactly what I have & what I may need. Mapping out a visual and creating a list will not only keep you on budget, but eliminate any unnecessary spending. My list includes these woven baskets to keep extra toilet paper & cleaning products in, and these wire stacking baskets for medicines, travel products, extra toothbrushes, & fingernail polish supplies. Finally, put it all together! This is the fun part. You already feel lighter from all that tossing & donating you did in step one. You ordered your organization containers and now that they are here you get to put it all together. I have tiny, obnoxious kiddos in my home - it is the season of life we are in - and I designed my closet to reflect them. Anything they shouldn't get into, went onto the upper shelves."

"When it comes to being a certified wedding planner, designer, and blogger, my office is typically where most of my time is spent behind the scenes. I am constantly on the go with client meetings, and this bookshelf in my office has always been used as a catch-all for all the day-to-day happenings of running a business. In turn, the bookshelf was cluttered, busy, and extremely unorganized. In attempt to bring this little office nook to life and make it a mini space of inspiration as I walked through the door each day, I needed something to tackle the chaos.
