This unit works great! It heats up quickly and the steam output is consistent. The only thing I would change is a gauge on the water tank so you can see how much water is in the reservoir. I like the weight of the iron. The handle is very comfortable. It heats up nicely. The main problem is that the water compartment is dark and it's impossible to see the water level! The bottom heating plate is still clean (only used it on clothes). I have used the water jet and steam often w/o issues. It is a little heavier and longer than my other iron. I do like the retractable cord concept. It does interfere with my clothes at times, but it no different than my other iron, i.e., no problem with my ironing process.
