High-quality hand-made floating shelves. Those shelves are made of pine boards to achieve 3" thickness. The shelf is 3" thick. Each shelf bracket can hold up to 75lb per stud. Our shelves are made with love and passion. With a modern look, these shelves are beautiful, robust, and elegant. Very cheaply made. The pine shelves themselves are sloppily filled and stained. The black brackets are also very low quality making it difficult to screw the rods to the base or screw on the caps. In fact, many of the rods looked like the connection threads had been painted over making it almost impossible to screw together. The black brackets were also sloppily painted. Also, the two shelves I received were two different lengths and the replacement Wayfair sent was another set of two shelves at different lengths.
