This is smaller than I imagined but I didnt compare the dimensions to the space I wanted to fill so thats on me for not realizing how small this is. It only fits about 6 pairs of shoes. But, thats fine as its meant to be used just to store shoes we wear all the time taking the dog in and out so we dont leave shoes in the entry way. It wouldnt work for mass shoe storage. I bought it because I absolutely love the different colors of wood and the rustic shabby chic look. And it does not disappoint- looks just like the photo online, maybe nicer. Looks like real wood. My boyfriend put it together and it did take him a little while with some swearing to get the job done. But, it came together just fine. All parts were there and it seemed logical.
