The stiletto/awl multi-tool is a combination tool used to guide the fabric under a sewing machine needle and to pierce holes in the fabric. The rubber tip on the stiletto grasps the fabric to prevent slippage and errors while easing the fabric under the machine needle. The small knitting mill is for making small knitted tubes. Works best with smooth, tightly twisted yarn in weights 1 or 2. The four hooks rotate as you turn the handle to create the knitted tubes. Handle rotates in either direction; just keep using the same direction after the mill is threaded with yarn. Use the included weight to apply the correct tension to the knitted tube. Love this little dynamo. Beware, i have only been successful in using up to a 3 wt baby yarn. It will not work with a 4 cotton, which is a tiny bit thicker.
