I think the quality of this trunk/bench and the workmanship is extraordinary. I love the leather work and detail. Unlike other decorative trunks I have seen that seem very fragile this one is sturdy and useful even as a bench if desired. I personally use it to store couch pillows and throws for convenience in the living room. The trunk came packaged very well and protected and is flawless. Although the web site says assembly required there was no assembly required at all. The end handles on mine seem to be more rounded than the web picture shows but I don't have a preference in the shape. The trunk top is very well firmly padded if it were to be used as a bench but I don't intend on using it as a bench.
