Really pleased with these. We have a funny little spot in our kitchen that was crying out for some narrow shelving for small items like spice jars and pinch bowls, and these fit the bill perfectly. They are lightweight and therefore likely real wood as noted in the product description. They look in person as they are pictured - a weathered bright white, not an off-white, beige or cream. The hardware on the back made them easy as pie to hang - just pick the right kind of screws for your wall type and off you go. They are pretty and whimsical. They came quickly and were well-packed.
