The item is exactly as described and appears as shown in the photos. The wood it is constructed of is very lightweight, and the overall quality is ok - I would not say the quality matches the high cost of the item. I selected the inside delivery option, thinking it would be unboxed and placed inside, as other items delivered by that option have been. I guess it is my fault for not reading the fine print, though, as the delivery guys dropped off a massive shipping crate that I had to use a screw driver to open. I then had to remove the item in a shipping box and unpack it. The convenience of having an item arrive fully assembled is significantly lessened by now having a huge, wooden shipping crate sitting in my living room that I now have to figure out how to disassemble and dispose of..
