Tapis naturel / bleu tressé à la main Alarik

I’ve wanted to replace our giant, shaggy area rug for years as it seemed impossible to keep it clean of lint, hair and everything else for more than 30 minutes. I wanted a neutral but beautiful piece to replace the large area rug and to make our living room look larger. This rug definitely fit the bill. It’s beautifully woven and so reasonably priced. Also, because it’s got no shag at all, I expect it will be much easier to keep clean (I have a similar rug elsewhere in the apartment). It’s not cushy underfoot like a typical rug, but I actually like the feel of it. Plus, the combination of blues with the natural-colored jute is striking without being distracting. Plus, I love the round shape; it makes our room look way bigger than before.

this was a beautiful rug, looks like the old fashion weaved rugs grandma use to make and makes my farmhouse decor look fabulous

EDITED REVIEW. I just noticed a long gap of missed sewing. Not as good a quality as I thought it was. ORIGINAL POST - I love this rug. I didnt know the blue in it was cut up blue Jeans so that was a surprise. That is totally my style. I have gotten a lot of compliments on it. Shipped fast.
