The material is super cute and looks like it does in the pictures. I put mine in front of the tray with my kitty's food and water fountain, and I can report that the material is easy to wipe clean as needed. The bottom has virtually no grip, so unfortunately I have to keep repositioning it as it slides around somewhat easily.

This Gel Pro Anti-Fatigue mat is nice looking, supportive, resilient, and wipes clean with a damp cloth. It's the very best for my tired feet, aching back, varicose veins, and arthritic knees; literally a joy to stand on.

Too thick for my comfort. Thickness should.be a good thing, but for me, I felt like I'd trip over the side. It's probably my age....

Get relief for aching back; standing at the kitchen counter, prepping vegetables, was no longer painful.

The mat itself is a really nice mat except that it is a little too thick, and I find myself walking into the edge of the mat causing it to slide a bit. A flatter mat the same size or slightly longer would fit my space better.
