I am loving this kitchen mat! For us, the thickness is just right. Some are so thick that even after you get used to them kids and adults still trip on them from time to time. This one is perfect for us. The length is wonderful, the edges are finished nicely, it wipes clean easily and the floral design is subtle but adds a touch of chic to the kitchen that I love. I would absolutely consider buying another one for my laundry room.
