This price is good for the size and the wood was all solid. I don't know how to tell if actual real teak wood but it is light and a semi-hard wood. I know a lot of companies pass off acacia wood as teak but I don't know for sure. Hardware was good but we had some small fitment issues which required drilling holes where some didn't align on the pre-drilled holes. The wood finish scratches easier than I would like revealing the natural wood color underneath the gray. Its not terrible but wish it was a bit more durable finish being an outside table. I will likely apply some type of teak oil to help protect in inclement weather as it doesn't look to be weather sealed and may be relying on the natural teak oil in the wood. Teak wood is naturally one of the most weather resistant woods so time will tell. I bought this table specifically so I could drop a fire pit table into it. The table worked great for the drop in fire pan and cutting the wood slats was easy. Overall a very firm and clean looking design when it all came together.
