Very nice looking handrail that we are proud to have as part of the "curb appeal" of our home. It doesn't scream "handicapped handrail," but it's very useful for our elderly relatives, including my mother, who is approaching 300 lbs. It is extremely sturdy, and I don't worry about her using it.
I took off one star because the hardware that comes with the handrail is not stainless steel (which really can't be expected at this price point.) If we had used the original hardware, it would have eventually stained the handrail with rust.
