I ordered this for the wall behind our stove at our summer cabin. The wall was an ugly linoleum, which I covered with some cool peel & stick paper. I didn't want grease splattering on the paper, so I hung this backsplash. It looks nice, and I think it will do the trick. We had to hang it vertically since we have trim pieces on either side that wouldn't allow it to be horizontal. It was packaged very securely and took a while to open. We were disappointed to see a lot of small scratches over the entire surface. They aren't as visible now that it's hung behind the stove, but I wish there weren't any scratches.. Jill. I bought the vent kit for the convertible vent hood in December 2022. My kitchen renovation is not finished yet, so I don’t have a review on the good or bad features. I wanted to have a recirculating system so my contractor didn’t have to cut a hole in my wall. This seems like a great option. The reason why I said it was pricey is the vent hood cost $900 +/-.
