Overall I really like this bunk bed. Color is a bright white. Some of the pieces appeared less painted, as in I could see the wood grain behind the paint as the piece could have used another coat, but once the bed was together this was completely unnoticeable. Some pieces also came a tiny bit damaged but they were all hidden once together. I thought I was going to have to add slats or a bunkie board because of the distance between the slats but because of how they are attached and the material that runs down them to attach them this was not necessary at all. I have 6 in memory foam mattresses on mine that work out really nice. The bottom bunker might bunk their head- but this is true for any bottom bunker on a bunk bed. Overall the bed is nice. My son really wanted a loft type bed so we chose this one for the look and also based on the good reviews. A lot of people said it was fairly easy to put together. The directions kinda sucked and it was just annoying to put together. Everything was labeled nicely at least. The insert with the Allen type key bolt isn’t our favorite type of securing mechanism but we cut the Allen key and made a drill bit making it a lot easier. Some of the wood pieces weren’t perfect or hollowed out enough. A piece actually came damaged but Wayfair sent out a new one right away, which was much appreciated. It doesn’t feel like the most solid structure. It’s fine to be sleeping on but I did warn my 4 year old not to be jumping or hanging on it. Time will tell how it holds up.. Gina. Ny, NY. We recently purchased a full-size loft bed, and overall, it has been a great choice. The design really maximizes space—having the full bed elevated creates plenty of room underneath for a desk, seating area, or storage, which is perfect for smaller bedrooms. The frame feels sturdy once assembled, and the bed itself is comfortable. Assembly does take some time, and it’s definitely easier with two people since there are a lot of pieces to line up. The instructions were clear enough, but patience is required. Once put together, it feels secure and doesn’t wobble much, though tightening everything carefully is key. A big plus is how much space it opens up—it makes the room feel bigger and more functional. The ladder placement is convenient, and the guard rails add peace of mind for safety. The only minor drawbacks climbing up and down in the middle of the night can be a bit inconvenient, and it may not be ideal for people who toss and turn a lot since it’s higher up. In general, the bed is solid. Ours only had a few pieces that had paint rubbed off them. We did have many pieces that had no label or were incorrectly labeled. I also had one piece that the holes were drilled in the incorrect place which required me to drill new holes. I built the bed alone and it definitely took a long time, much of which was used looking for a piece that didn’t have a label. It is very easy to attach a piece facing the wrong direction so watch the directions closely to try to avoid time consuming mistakes. My daughter loves us and it’s very solid.. Chris H.
