I bought this as a decorative item with storage capacity, if that makes sense. I placed this in our guest bedroom, where I could store some extra stuff and placed some collectibles on top. It fit nicely into a space I had. I am giving it only four stars because I think that the bottom is a little weak - I would not put very heavy things into it. But since I didn't, I am pleased with the purchase.

I reload a lot of shotgun shells for competition, and was looking for an attractive ammo box that did not break the bank. This fit the bill perfectly. The box is well made, and the colors are crisp. This is an ammo box that would good out on display, not just locked away somewhere. This is also larger than a lot of them and would work to hold many things, not just shotgun shells
