Works, but what a joke! There is a sticker completely covering the instructions. We were able to scrape some of the label off, but the instructions are worthless. Unable to change to farenheit, as there is no way to do that, even though the instructions say there is. Would return if we still had the packing materials. Don't waste your money!

It is on the cheap side. Plastic and feels like a remote control. Meh. It also doesn't come with a battery, so have one on hand! It takes one AAA type. No big deal, just making you aware. I haven't put it to use with meats yet, but tested it in water and it does a good job once you get the hang of it. Will see how it performs with Turkey or steak and update my review.

I'm very disappointed with this food thermometer. Although you are supposed to be able to easily switch between celsius and fahrenheit, there is no way to do this and it's set on celsius. The directions indicate a toggle switch is located in the battery compartment, but there is nothing there. I can use it for items that are shown on the thermometer for meats, but I'd have to convert degrees for candies and jams. Most reviewers love this item, but there are a few with the same issue I have.

I really like this thermometer the size, screen is easy to read and easy to use. The functions are easy you can use, when you open the thermometer it automatically turns on and shuts off when you close it. You get your reading fast. You will need a AAA battery.

Shipment was delayed and delivered to the wrong address,I had to canvas my neighbors to find it. Instructions says it can toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit but there is no switch.
