These are perfect! Typical Denby quality, the perfect sized salad plates (these are a little larger than the dessert plates and work great for anything needing a smaller plate than the large dinner plates), nice and sturdy, and still look like new after daily use and constant dishwasher cleanings. Other plates have a glaze that scratches too easily, but I've never had an issue with anything from Denby and these are no exception to the high quality I expect from Denby. I especially love how every plate is ever so slightly different, although none of them look so different as to look mismatched. If you want perfectly matching dishes, Denby won't be the brand for you, but if you like exceptional quality, warmth, and character these are great. Couldn't recommend them enough! Only thing to consider is that, due to the depth of the plates, you'll probably need to stagger them and leave space between in the dishwasher. We don't mind at all, though, especially since the rise of the plate works really well to keep food where it should be.

I appreciate that there will always be slight colour variances with these but one of the four was much paler than all the others...kind of expect it when you buy from the seconds but when paying full price I was a little disappointed but couldn't be bothered to send them all back again.
