I wanted something "different" - I have some ceramic pieces that I made in college and they seem to be the dishes that we all reach for first! I love that these have a hand made look and feel.

Very nice set though 1 arrived broken and a few has surface defects, but Wayfair says they are sending replacement for those. They get a little warm in the microwave, but other than that we are very please
