Tiger Rice Cooker

Extremely disappointed. Worked great for 4 months, then basically burned itself up internally. I made a 3-cup batch of rice. As I was working on some other things, I smelled a burning plastic smell. Looked over to see steam streaming out of the steam port, and all the lights on unit off. I unplugged the cooker and when I opened it, the rice was burned black on the bottom. Now it doesn’t work at all. My last Tiger lasted for 15 years. This one only 4 months. What a disappointment!

Buyer beware! I purchased this for my son at college. We eat a good amount of rice, so he was excited to have a rice cooker. The reviews were good, and the rice cookers we have had have lasted for years. Within 2 months, the rice cooker was leaking water and not working. It was beyond the 30 days where they would replace or refund the money, so we are out of luck. It was over $150 and worked for a few short weeks. Wayfair was not helpful at all since I didn’t buy the protection plan. They did offer a 10% coupon on another purchase, which added insult to injury. I’d say don’t buy this or at least get the protection plan. Better yet, buy it from another company that backs their products beyond 30 days. I am done with Wayfair.

I think is the best rice cooker ever, I have it and it works perfectly.I been buying this rice cooker to most of my family and is easy to learn how to cook with it.

Makes rice perfectly every time. Great size for me and my husband and a couple guests. Lightweight and easy to put away when not in use.

Works perfectly! A more modern version of my old rice cooker but still works great.
