I bought this knife to replace my 8" Wusthof that I have used for over 25 years. I bought the 10" because I make sourdough bread. It makes it so easy to cut through the entire loaf without having to cut the loaf in half and then make smaller slices. . .

4th knife purchased from company. Wife makes a lot of bread and this knife is perfect. It has been several weeks now and she is still sharing how pleased she is with the ease of use.

We use it for cutting homemade sourdough bread which tends to be tough to cut through the crust, not with this knife.
