I've been wanting a new set of knives for a while and specifically Wusthof bevause they are a huge investment and will last a lifetime. My fiancé kinda liked at me like I was nuts and didn't quite understand my motivation or the investment cost until he used them. To quote him after using the nakiri knife, he said "Babe, I have to admit. . . it cuts like butter. " So, point made and money very well spent!
