Great design and works great as a strainer and skimmer. This skimmer came in handy during the Holiday's. Great to have when you are making bone broth. It's multi-functional.

I use this skimming ladle specifically for German spaetzle my mom taught me to make. It drains them perfectly from the water where they boil, to then place in the next pot where we cook with lentils. I love this one, as the brushed stainless steel is such a nice, updated version from my old tools. I am slowly collecting them, as I love the look, the form and their function. The also hang on your wall grid or hooks next to the stove.
