This is an excellent knife. Note that you may be disappointed if you're buying to use it as a Chef's knife. The blade is super thin and the knife EXTREMELY light, so your arm/wrist would be doing significantly more work in serious cutting. As far as utility goes, I would call this knife a large pairing knife, or the ideal paring knife for someone that stands 6'4" or taller and has huge meat clever-sized hands. The knife was marked down 70% due to alleged "imperfections", but the knife was in perfect shape when I received it.
