Have not used yet but seems sturdy like it will last. Hopefully 5he tips don't melt like the less expensive tongs.

The latch works for a while but after about a year it wears out so the tongs cannot be locked shut.

My old locking tongs fell apart because the pin at the top just wore out after a while. these feel so much more sturdy and the one-handed nature of them cannot be beat! i was hoping this design existed and was thrilled to discover it. why wasn’t this always the way?!?!

I can finally pick up my food with fumbling with it for 10 minutes. Also helps keep my dishes safe and scratch free.
