Wok en acier au carbone antiadhésif OXO Obsidian

Looks great but I have to admit, it's a bit heavier than I expected but it's one of the lighter woks out there so I can't really say it's a fault

This replaced a 30-year-old wok with the small bottom and too high sides, and the difference has been amazing. Non-stick, easier to get hot, and easy to move food around.

Very good non stick wok, without forever chemicals. I wish there was a lid available for it

Big OXO fan, if OXO has something I wouldn't buy it from anywhere else no matter the price, because I believe in OXO quality. I have used it for 2 weeks now almost daily. Cons: 1. pan warps under heat, very poor heat distribution. I start to think they didn't even test the wok. Because whenever you heat it up with electric stove, starting at medium heat, the supposedly flat bottom becomes warped and only the middle section make contact with the stove, like a pen point size, the rest of the bottom raises up and no longer make contact with the stove. you can free spin the wok, something you couldn't do when it's cold. Once you put some food in it the warp reduces but still exist. causing the middle to be extremely hot and burns the food, and 1 inch off center becomes not hot enough. this is a very poor design flaw that most company fix by increase the bottom thickness(it's a simple way but might not be the best way). con 2. not deep enough. Idk if they have studied a lot of Woks, but woks are generally very deep, so you can stir fry a lot of vegetables without spilling. I sincerely wish and want it to be deeper! because right now if you stir any vegetable more than 2 portions it will spill over, it will be perfect if it's deeper. Pros: 1. I can not believe how non-stick this is. it's as nonstick as a TFLON non stick pan! amazing, didn't know carbon steel can do this pro2: it's light for a steel/iron wok, relatively light pro3: probably due to it's unstick properties, super easy to clean, never had to scrub with steel wool or anything, just sponge and normal brush. pro4:wide bottom, something most flat bottom wok lacks! most other ones are super small 6 inch bottom or less, but this one is big! you can get more heat for stir fry, if only it didn't warp it would have been perfect. This wok could easily be the best electric stove flat bottom non TFLON permanent chemical wok on the market if they make it stop warping and deeper. Nothing will come close to this
