I am a HUGE Shun fan and this knife didn't disappoint! I love the versatility of the beak blade - perfect for coring tomatoes and green peppers.

If fruit is a regular component in your life then this knife should be a regular tool in your life. This and a nakiri do the vast majority of cutting chores on a soft rubber cutting board in my kitchen.

Pretty good for trimming/cutting vegetables. Bit of a learning curve as this is a specialty knife, but this is a finely made tool so it's worth the effort. Again, beautifully made, and we'll adapted to its specific task.

Good Quality. Love the unusual shape of the blade.
