[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is nice for vegatables since it is longer and it doesn’t stick on the side of the knife as much. It’s also something nice for being in between a cleaver and a santouko knife. Still feels a unitask knife and not as good for multipurposes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] sharp knife that cuts through just about everything! i really like how thin and sharp the blade is in this knife, it allows me to get crisp cuts with everything i have cut up so far. the weight of the handle makes it feel luxurious and i prefer heavier handle knifes, it gives me more control and grip when i’m using them, the knife came to me in the box picturesd, but i really don’t understand why it doesn’t come with a sheath, the size and shape of this knife make it extremely hard to store , and i hate throwing it into the drawer without the blade being protected, because it will wear down the sharpness and also a danger for my kiddos. another downside is that just after one use the blade showed begining signs of RUST! like what i am so confused why the blade would be rusting after one use.. i have never had this with any other knife i own, and i prefer not to add rust to my daily diet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this is hands down the best knife i’ve ever owned. the quality is impeccable and it’s extremely sharp. i can tell how much craftsmanship went into making this knife compared to the other ones i own. since i’ve got it, ive only been using this knife to cook. it’s made my other knife’s look really bad lol!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really impressed with this knife. Right out of the box, it just feels high quality, and the blade design is honestly so pretty — it looks like a piece of art sitting on my counter. It’s super sharp and made chopping really easy. We tried it on tomatoes and onions, and it cut through everything so smoothly without squishing anything. The handle feels comfortable and secure, and it’s nicely balanced in hand, which I really appreciate when doing a lot of prep. If you cook often and want something that works great but also beautiful, I’d definitely recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shun Shiranami 6.5” Nakiri vegetable knife came in a fancy box that already prepares you for the luxurious knife that it came with. I already own a Shun knife, so I am familiar with the company and the quality of its knives, but nothing prepared me for the sharpness and sturdiness of the Nakiri knife. I used it to cut onions, carrots, and potatoes, and I did so with little effort on my part. It is very sharp, so you really have to be careful while using and cleaning it. The shape of the knife is quite unique, more rectangular than curvy, but I think that helps with cutting large vegetables. I can’t wait to use it to cut a kabocha squash, which is one of the toughest veggies for me to cut!
